ACCOUNTS PAYABLE ACCOUNTANT
The Accounts Payable Accountant is responsible for handling the financial processing of transactions for an organization.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
The role will involve, but is not limited to
Obtain monthly statements from all suppliers
- Reconcile suppliers’ statements to Microsoft Navision
- Investigate variances with branch managers & suppliers
- Ensure resolution of all outstanding items in a reasonable timeframe
- Fortnightly review of accounts payable aged analysis to investigate old out outstanding amounts.
- Load Eft payment batches for payment & hand over to Financial Controller for review & authorisation.
- Obtain authorisation from Operational Director to action all COD payments
- Maintain adequate accounts payable filing system
- Other duties may be assigned by client and/or MDM SYSTEMS, INC. to assist team/company.
