Job Description Summary
Based in Manila and or Cebu and reporting to the Senior Manager, Financial Controls Assurance, this role will undertake IT control audits across the Global QBE Finance environment, whilst also assisting with standardizing the process and control documentation across Finance.
This role will require incumbents to use judgement to assess the operating effectiveness of IT controls, evaluate the adequacy of supporting documentation, and challenge Group and divisional Finance and IT teams to remediate control deficiencies. This will require experience and understanding of IT financial controls and an ability to distinguish what is acceptable and what is not.
This role also has a dotted (matrix) reporting line into the Global Head of Financial Control Assurance.
