Prosel is now at its 39th year of providing quality abd affordable medicines at reasonable terms to the Filipinos. Its humble beginnings started in 1983 in Cebu City, by a young and dynamic couple who had eight (8) years experience in various transnational pharmaceutical companies, asMetropharm, promoting and selling vaccines by SmithKline and French. In 1986, Prosel was registered as a single proprietor entity expanding its business operations by engaging in selling pharmaceutical products imported and manufactured by Lopharm and Myrex Ethica respectively. Eventually, Prosel acquired a corporation status with the Securities and exchange Commission in 1988. From Single distributorship, Prosel is now the proud owner of 52 Branded productsby virtue of Drug Registration issued by the Bureau of Food and Drugs (FDA)duly manufactured by ISO-accredited LLoyd Laboratories,Inc.

Prosel is the owner of Pred Lines, the only company with the widest range of dosage strenght of the steroid , Prednisone. Pred is the most commonly used glucocorticoid for the treatment of several auto-immune diseases such as collagen diseases, vasculitis syndromes, gastrointestinal inflammatory diseases and renal auto-immune iseases. Other products lines are Procor (Cotrimoxazole), Promox ((Amoxicillin Trihydrate), Selmac (Mefenamic Acid)., Selvon C (Multivitamins), Selxan (Paracetamol/ibuprofen, and Selzef ( Cefalexin).
