The Technological Institute of the Philippines (TIP), a private, non-sectarian higher education institution founded in 1962 which stands in the service of the nation by providing quality technological education that is within reach of every Filipino.

TIP is a leading school in the fields of engineering, architecture, information technology, maritime studies, business education and teacher education with campuses in Manila and Quezon City. TIP Quezon City was awarded Autonomous Status, the highest possible award for a higher education institution, and TIP Manila was granted Deregulated Status by the Commission on Higher Education. TIP has also earned numerous national and international accreditation and quality certification.

TIP serves students who are passionate in their pursuit of scientific and practical knowledge. In the same way, TIP needs individuals who are eager to move towards even higher levels of quality and excellence in teaching, research and development, and extension service to produce the best quality outcomes for the industry it serves, the country and the world.

In the year 2012, the school’s 50th anniversary, TIP envisions itself as:

The leading school in the fields of Engineering and Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and in all other academic offerings;

A CHED Center of Excellence or Center of Development in at least three Engineering programs;

A school steeped in research and community service;

A school that is managed efficiently with computerized operations capable of having fast access to accurate information in order to respond to an ever-changing environment to ensure financial viability; and

A school with:

Level III Accredited Status for 75 percent of its programs

Total Quality Management for all aspects of operations including ISO Certifications

The best work environment for its teaching and non-teaching employees

Strategic alliances with other schools and industry
