Job description
Facilitates the processing of regulatory / compliance requirements on behalf of the operating SBUs in relation to administrative requirements to operate such as business permits & licenses, occupancy permits, construction permits, and other requirements regulating the retail / wholesale industry.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Receives from the various SBUs all necessary documents for verification/ validation in order to facilitate the filing and securing of permits & licenses from relevant government agencies.
· Assists the SBUs by working with SBU compliance specialists in ensuring completeness & timely submission of compliance requirements to government agencies.
· Directly coordinates and handles transactions with the government agencies to meet compliance requirements & address any issues / concerns affecting any of the SBUs.
· Monitors and coordinates with respective SBU Compliance specialists for the application, renewal of permit of the business units until request for discontinuance of business.
· Safekeeping of Original Copy of Permits of the various SBUs and sends a copy to SBU Compliance Personnel for their reference and monitoring.
· Monitors & ensures that all establishments of the various SBUs are compliant and filed on-time on all required permits/registrations by the government units.
· Works with relevant government agencies for the conduct of any relevant orientation / training on compliance and other regulatory updates in relation to any statutory changes.
Keeps abreast with any statutory & regulatory compliance rules, executive orders, local government issuances and informs the various SBUs.
