Team and Role Introduction:
Lazada PH operates 3 major facilities in PH: Cabuyao Fulfillment Warehouse: 54,00 sqm Fulfillment Center. Semi-Automated. San Pedro Sort Center: 18,00 sqm Log Ops Sorting Facility, Fully Automated. Meycauayan Sort Center: 36,00 sqm Log Ops Sorting Facility. Currently converting to Automation. Lazada is responsible for the facilities management of these sites inclusive of building infrastructure maintenance, all internal equipment maintenance, supplies management and all other associated administrative requirements (operating permits, supplies management etc). The Facilities Manager reports to the Head of Fulfillment and Infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Daily scheduling management of in-house maintenance teams:
- 14 pax Cabuyao (Infrastructure and automation maintenance)
- 8 pax San Pedro (automation maintenance)
- Meycauyan – automation is currently under development. Support for this equipment will be added to this role as the project progresses.
- Management of and liaison with external maintenance and support contractors
- Daily scheduling and management of general janitorial team (47 pax)
- Preventative maintenance planning and management (for both internal teams and external contactors)
- Sourcing of all necessary government permits related to facility (Fire, environmental and business permits). Liaison with Local Government Unit for procurement of same
- Supplies management – ordering and inventory control for operational supplies (packing materials) and maintenance supplies (consumables and spare parts)
- Overall responsibility for key facility systems (fire alarm and protection, water and electrical supplies and all internal and external services related to building operation.
- Administration of and management of related operational requirements (shuttle services, uniforms and related consumables Special Projects
- Business case development and project management of all facility related projects not covered by day-to-day functions e.g.
- Office re-fitout
- External rest area building
- Cool room re-fit out
- Capacity generation (sorter de-install, racking changes)
Job Requirements
Requirements/Qualifications(must have):
- Ideally a seasoned building or facility manager with 5+ years experience in large scale warehousing or manufacturing facility maintenance with a proven track record of cost effective management of both internal and external technical teams.
- Experience of project managing complex infrastructure related change projects.
- Strong technical knowledge of key building systems (fire detection and suppression, utility supply services, HVAC systems) and, ideally, warehouse handling systems.
