The Finance Staff in Cebu will supervises accounting operations of Visayas as a Regional Hub and supports in fulfilling the financial reporting requirements of the parent company. Assists in ensuring compliance and full implementation of comptrollership, treasury and internal control policies, procedures and guidelines. Closely coordinates with various Heads for compliance and provide supports to business operations. Partners with various departments and/or business units in establishing and reviewing policies and guidelines for various products, promos and process improvements. Helps implement stronger alignment and compliances in Property Accounting and Revenue Accounting. Reinforce cost containment and financial discipline to the different business units.
Responsibilities:
- Assists the Finance Manager, GM and Regional Head in the preparation of annual planning and budgets of the region
- Managing records and receipts of the systems assigned.
- Records, processing and reconciling daily, monthly and yearly transactions
- Preparation of various Financial Reports, Consolidations and Analysis
- Monitors actual performance of the region vis-à-vis plans and budgets
- Developing an in-depth knowledge of organisational products and process and improving the related internal control requirements
- Providing customer service to clients thru/by servicing the requirements of internal customers
- Resolve financial disputes raised by the customer service and sales teams
- Being a key point of contact for other departments on financial and accounting matters
- Supporting the Finance Manager and executives with projects and tasks when required
- Other functions that may be assigned by immediate superiors
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be a Graduate of Bachelors in Accountancy and Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
- With at least 1 year of meaningful experience as finance officer/supervisor
- With knowledge and experience in handling ERP tools (SAP, Epicor, Microsoft Navision, Oracle)
- Familiar in taxation and other government & reportorial requirements
- Has excellent Excel skills
