We offer you a fairly competitive base salary of ₱16,000 - ₱20,000 in average and can be adjusted according to the capabilities that you offer for our company and have been negotiated under HRD agreement.

JOB DESCRIPTION: HR & PAYROLL ASSISTANT
Line Manager: VP Admin & Finance
Mission: To help AEL be the best international freight forwarding company and deliver in line with the company’s purpose, aspiration, customer promise, and values primarily by delivering excellent performance throughout all areas of your role:
Role Purpose: To provide strategic and operational Human Resources, Payroll, and Developing a Healthy and Fun Company Culture for the company.
a. To advise and support the Central Leadership Team to achieve and maintain compliance with legal and regulatory obligations.
b. Develop and maintain company policies and procedures, including Employee Handbook.
c. Develop and support management/employee consultation processes.
d. Manage pay and benefits.
e. Building a culture of continual improvement, all aligned to our purpose, aspirations, customer promise and values.
f. Sourcing and retaining of key talents fit for the needs of the company.
g. Provide an end-to-end recruitment process.
h. Ensuring job descriptions for all positions within the company are relevant to the needs of the company.
i. Ensure all employees receive a contract of employment within the required timescales.
j. Provide a reporting, monitoring process for key employment issues.
a. Support the processing of payroll activities, including new starters, leavers, timesheets, calculating pay, etc.
b. Ensure the management of all types of leave eg. Holiday, sick, maternity, volunteering and schemes are completed effectively.
c. Provide any other Payroll, accounting or administrative related tasks, as identified.
- Preferred to have experience in HR management role.
- Preferred to have payroll experience.
- Sound knowledge of payroll computation.
- Sound knowledge of employment law and practical application.
- Excellent Excel and Word Skills
- Experience in computing daily time record attendance of employees.
