The candidates we need are those who have the minimum criteria of Bachelor's/College Degree and experienced and have the integrity to work in the field of Accounting/Finance & General/Cost Accounting.

As a professional company, we offer a competitive monthly base salary ₱16,000 - ₱38,000 which can be adjusted by the decision of our HRD company and adjusts to the capabilities of the candidate offers for our company.

Responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:

•       Team Management:

Supervise, train, and mentor a team of AP members, ensuring their professional development and performance improvement.

Assign tasks, set priorities, and monitor workload to ensure timely completion of assignments.

Provide guidance and support to resolve complex issues and exceptions.

•       Invoice Processing:

Review, verify, and approve invoices for accuracy, completeness, and proper coding.

Coordinate with the procurement team to resolve any discrepancies or issues with invoices.

Ensure invoices are properly matched with purchase orders and receiving documents.

•       Payment Processing:

Oversee the process of generating and approving payments to vendors.

Verify payment runs, including ACH, wire transfers, and checks, are accurate and timely.

Reconcile payments to ensure alignment with vendor accounts and internal records.

•       Vendor Relationship Management:

Establish and maintain positive relationships with vendors, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.

Negotiate payment terms and address discrepancies with vendors as needed.

•       Process Improvement:

Continuously assess AP processes for efficiency improvements and implement best practices.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize the procure-to-pay process.

•       Compliance and Reporting:

Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant financial regulations.

Prepare and distribute regular AP reports and metrics to management.

•       System Utilization:

Leverage accounting software and ERP systems to process invoices, payments, and reports.

Assist with system upgrades and implementations to enhance AP functions.

•       Training and Development:

Provide training to team members on processes, systems, and industry best practices.

Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and regulations related to AP.

•       Problem Resolution:

Address and resolve escalated issues, disputes, and discrepancies related to invoices and payments.

•       Other ad-hoc tasks and projects as assigned.

Experience :

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience or equivalent. Knowledgeable in General Accounting, Management Accounting, Taxation and Internal Control, Accounting Computer System (ERP), Financial Reports/Audits and Government Agencies Rules.

Skill/ Technical Requirements :

·      Previous experience in accounts payable, with at least 3-5 years in a supervisory or team lead role.

·      Sound knowledge of accounting principles, internal control systems, and an understanding of manufacturing environment are required

·      Knowledge of US GAAP, Phil. GAAP rules, SEC and Philippine tax rules

·      Working knowledge on Sarbanes Oxley Act (SOX)

·      Proficiency in using accounting software and Oracle ERP systems.

·      Ability to lead diverse working groups

·      Act as escalation point for any accounting issues, identify roadblocks, develop mitigation plan to prevent them from happening again

·      Must be able to understand and utilize common financial reports and legal documents.

·      Ability to independently anticipate, organize, prioritize and manage multiple task / priorities.

·      Perform duties with a high degree of completeness, accuracy, attention to detail, and follow through.

·      Works with utmost integrity and ethics.

·      Ability to communicate effectively verbally & in writing

·      Ability to have administrative skills to manage team workload, team performance, discipline and reward
