This position is responsible for providing various sales and marketing support to the Regional Head and Agency Sales Managers and Advisors to help achieve the sales targets of their respective branch. The position also has functional reporting to the Head of Branch Operations and is responsible for execution of various operations initiatives in meeting renewal premium collection target and sales quality metrics. The BSA also assists in the handling of policy related inquiries and transactions of clients.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Pre-underwrites New Business applications (Regular & Variable); Requests for Letter of Authorization (LOA) for medical exam from Medical Department and coordinates with Medical Examiner and Medical Network for schedule of medical exam of client; facilitates all required underwriting forms for processing of application form (i.e. AOA, financial questionnaire, etc.)
- Monitors all pending Underwriting and Medical requirements needed for evaluation of the application coordinates with the concerned agent for completion and ensures completed requirements are scanned and matched to the policy.
- Generates Proposals for both Traditional and VUL Products based on the plan and coverage applied for.
- Facilitates release of Policy Contract and monitors return of Policy Acknowledgement Receipt (ACKRA)
- Facilitates processing of Certificate of Authority (CA) applications of agents and ensures all CA documents and requirements (new and old) are complete before transmittal to Licensing Department, facilitates registration/enrollment to licensing exam – ACE
- Prepares weekly and monthly RAP Report, Mid-Month and Month end Production and Manpower telecon reports
- Preparation of training materials and other training requirements – attendance, schedule, venue, logistics for ALT, QSP, BOP, Praxis and other trainings and sales activity at the branch.
- Distributes various reports, circulars and memos to Agents and Agency Managers and posts Production Updates and Sales Drives in the Bulletin Board – (e.g. Persistency Reports, ACS, Orphan List, Maturity list, etc.)
- Facilitates enrollment of Agents in Sun Life GREPA Link Agents Portal and assists agents in access to portal
- Assists the Regional Head in facilitating the following trainings – BOP, VUL, AMLA and QSP Review and monitoring of manpower recruitment.
- Conducts training and orientation on various operations and marketing guidelines
- Other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time
Minimum qualifications:
- Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s/College Degree of any business-related course
- Minimum 2 years work experience, preferably in Life Insurance but not required
- Knowledge in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
