We offer you a fairly competitive base salary of ₱40,000 - ₱45,000 in average and can be adjusted according to the capabilities that you offer for our company and have been negotiated under HRD agreement.

Job Summary:

The Employee Development Assistant Manager (ED-AM) contributes to the design and delivery of people and organizational development strategies and the management of change in support of the organization’s strategic and operational plans, providing information, advice and services as required. He or she will have 3 focus areas, namely the Learning and Development, Performance Management System, as well as Employee and the Family Welfare Programs in order to support programs of continuous organizational performance improvement in consonance with the vision, mission and values of of the company.

A. Learning & Development

  1. Directs the needs assessment for training and staff development to enhance the effectiveness of employee performance in achieving the goals and objectives of the company.
  2. Identifies and incorporates best practices and lessons learned into program plans.
  3. Designs and develops HR training programs for management and employees.
  4. Develops learning activities, audio-visual materials, instructor guides and lesson plans.
  5. Reviews evaluations of training courses, objectives and accomplishments.
  6. Makes assessments of effectiveness of training in terms of employee accomplishments and performance.
  7. Trains employees on HR issues and practices. Presents course materials.
  8. Consults with management on performance, organizational and leadership matters. Conducts needs assessments to determine measures required to enhance employee job performance and overall company performance.
  9. To lead on the development of a staff skills and knowledge database in order to maximize the diverse talents of the organization.

B. Performance Management

  1. To oversee the annual Performance Management System (PMS) process, monitoring compliance with the timetable and working with the HR Manager to ensure consistency of quality in (PMS) documentation.
  2. Identify overarching company performance and development goals
  3. Create and oversee the implementation of the procedures that support and enhance employee performance as per the company’s objectives
  4. Establish a two-way communication channel to receive employee feedback and modify development policies and standards accordingly
  5. Provide the HR Manager with insightful training practices to reach the established performance target goals
  6. Determine and resolve workplace issues that prevent optimal performance.
  7. Explain to employees the methodology of current or upcoming performance practices thoroughly and professionally and follow up with them to ensure organization-wide understanding
  8. To develop PMC’s approach to talent management and succession planning and to coordinate the contributions of key stakeholders to ensure effective implementation.
  9. To work with line managers on the design and delivery of appropriate and relevant Personal Development Plans for their staff; to commission and evaluate agreed internally-delivered interventions.
  10. To develop coaching, mentoring, immersion and job rotation schemes to support staff development and the achievement of Personal Development Plans. 

C. Employee Activities

  1. Plan and conduct of employee engagement activities and programs (Family Welfare Program, Occupational Safety and Health, etc.) within the fiscal year in collaboration with internal and external interested parties while adhering to established schedules, specifications, and budgets.
