PURPOSE
The main purpose of the job is to lead the CEVI team to provide poor families access to financial services and training to alleviate poverty.
The Executive Director establishes an enabling culture of good stewardship, high performance and productivity to increase the social impact in CEVI.
The Executive Director is expected to deliver strategic interventions to ensure adequate funding, increase the loan portfolio and number of clients, and manage risks while delivering financial and social performance targets.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
· Post–graduate qualification with a Degree in Banking / Finance & Accounting / Management/Business Administration.
· Minimum fifteen years of working experience, with five of them in a senior management position, in a combination of the following: micro-enterprise lending organization, banking institution, a progressive corporate environment, international business, or economic and business development institution.
· Substantial and proven experience in functional areas of Operations Management, Human Resources Management, and Finance Management.
