We are offering a salary of ₱16,000 - ₱38,000 for this position for interested candidates. However, this salary range can be negotiated and changed if the candidate's credibility exceeds our expectations and for sure, the agreement is adjusted to the policies of our company's HRD. Job purpose:
Responsible for coordinating procurement activities as well as providing administrative support to the Strategic Sourcing and Procurement team for support services such as analysis of the technical and commercial data of the product/ service, pricing validation, and negotiations. An important aspect of this role is seeking maximum value for the company through time and cost agreements while working with technology and advanced products.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Initiates sourcing to ensure continuity of supplies/services.
- Ensures that the Request for Quotation (RFQ), Request for Proposal (RFP), and Bid documents are configured to the requirements submitted by the Process Owners
- Obtains quotations/proposals and negotiates with the vendors the most advantageous terms and conditions and possible discounts.
- Reviews and evaluates quotations/proposals, submit order placement recommendations and generate purchase orders/Letter of Award for approval.
- Coordinates with vendors the delivery dates, returned items, and other related concerns to ensure that high-quality goods/services are delivered/served within the turnaround time/Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Evaluates the performance of certain vendors to decide whether or not to continue buying from them.
- Initiates the development, implementation, and improvement of systems to support the procurement process.
- Troubleshoots simple problems related to Systems, Applications, and Products (SAP), Purchase Requisition (PR), and Purchase Order (PO) creation.
- Maintains detailed purchasing records, vendor files, and PR/PO status.
Qualifications
- Education: Requires a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a closely related field
- Specialized knowledge: Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques as well as dexterity in “reading” the market.
- Skills (including any technical or interpersonal skills): Strong analytical and quantitative
- Communication (oral and written) and Customer Service Skills; Presentation Skills.
- Technical Skills, including experience in developing, maintaining, and revising management procedures and processes; proficiency with Microsoft Office (e.g., Excel) and ERP software (e.g., SAP)
