We are hiring! Our company is merrily looking for a candidate to fill the position of Safety Officer / Pollution Control Officer. We offer you the salary rates ranging from ₱16,000 - ₱38,000. The provision pertaining to the average starting initial salary we offer may change if you meet or even beyond the minimum requirement we are looking for in accordance with our company HRD agreement.

Qualifications:
- Must have at least an educational attainment equivalent to a college/bachelor’s degree in Engineering
- With BOSH certificate, has completed the mandatory forty (40)-hour BOSH training
- Has completed (40)-hour basic PCO training course by DENR accredited organization
- With relevant experience in occupational safety and health (OSH) and environmental management
- With good critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and strong analytical observation skills
- Willing to be assigned in Caloocan City
Duties and Responsibilities as Safety Officer:
- Conducts safety inspections and regular health and safety walk-through of entire work areas
- Acts as the point person on all matters pertaining to safety and health of members in all assigned sites/areas and develops preventive measures to assure personnel safety
- Monitor workplace activities and ensure compliance to Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) standards, health protocols, safety policies/programs, and government mandated laws
- Reports all identified non-compliance and safety violation in the workplace
- Checks and monitors proper usage of safety equipment in accordance to Occupational Safety and Health (OSH)
- Educates members on health and safety protocols and policies through toolbox meetings and safety orientation
- Participate in safety meetings to identify any health and safety concerns inherent in the operations daily work-plan
- Investigates accident and maintains accident record system
- Submits all work accidents and occupational illnesses to Management and department of labor regional office
- Conducts drills and exercises on how to manage emergency situations
- Timely submission of monthly/annual reports to DOLE
Duties and Responsibilities as Pollution Control Officer (PCO):
- Oversee all environmental concerns in the company
- Comply with environment statutory and regulatory requirements including the application/renewal of necessary permits (e.g., Permit to Operate, Hazardous Waste Permit, etc.)
- Monitor activities pertaining to the installation/construction of pollution sources and control facilities in compliance with the air, noise, and water quality standards
- Ensure proper operation and maintenance of pollution control facilities
- Create recommendations to management for installation and operation of additional equipment for pollution abatement facilities
