ONE (1) Senior Accountant
The Person:
· Accounting Graduate, CPA preferably
· At least five years of Finance/Accounting work experience preferably in the Mining Industry.
· Supervisory experience.
· Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and current pronouncements and developments.
· Knowledge of the 1995 Mining Act.
· Knowledge of Philippine tax laws especially on local taxation expanded withholding tax and Vat.
· Familiar or knowledge of Pronto Enterprise Management System
The Job:
- Provide day-to-day supervision and coordination of the site finance department with a focus on ensuring that the accounting procedures and processes are followed.
- Active involvement in the company’s financial and budget management functions.
- Verify that established controls are effective to ensure the timeliness and accuracy of the information reported and the protection of the assets of the business.
- Provide analysis of local taxation requirements to ensure the company’s obligations are met.
- Play a key role in Accounts Payable, Financial Reporting, and Balance Sheet Reconciliations.
