Job Summary

We’re looking for a new star with a journalism and/or education background to join our Kinterviewer (Kintell interviewer) team. You have a stable high-speed internet connection (upload & download) to seamlessly host video meetings on the Kintell platform. You have top-notch English skills (close to native, both in spoken and written proficiency), a warm personality and a great sense for engaging video content. The role is fully remote following the Sydney, Australia time zone for daily work hours, but sometimes Kinterviews occur early morning or late evening because of our global customer base.

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct Kinterviews in English via Kintell video conferencing with thought leaders around the globe.
• Research and prepare thoroughly for each Kinterview, understanding the Kinterviewee’s background and the specific topic of discussion.
• Generate Kinterview questions tailored to the purpose of the video project and elicit valuable information from the Kinterviewees.
• Create a comfortable and engaging atmosphere during Kinterviews, making Kinterviewees feel at ease while ensuring the conversation flows naturally.
• World-class journalism to compile a compelling narrative from the Kinterview (note: you will NOT be doing any video editing, the Kintell tech platform will produce the videos).
• Proofread Kinterview captions, ensuring the accuracy meets Kintell standards.
• Stay updated with industry trends and emerging topics within the knowledge sector.
• Manage scheduling and logistics for Kinterviews.
• Ensure customer success and satisfaction throughout the video project and beyond.
• Train, coach, and manage junior Kinterviewers.

Job Qualifications

• Close to native level of written & spoken English
• You have a stable high-speed internet connection (this is essential)
• Your home office is presentable with a professional background
• Your timezone is within 3 hour’s time difference from Sydney Australia
• Experienced with journalism or education (e.g. MBA facilitator)
• Having experience in training and managing junior team members is advantageous.
• Intelligent, curious, warm and inviting personality
• Knowledgeable in general with a broad range of interests and curiosity
• Excellent attention to detail and highly organised
• Enthusiastic about customer success and project delivery
• Passionate about education and social impact
• Master’s, MBA, or PhD degree preferred
