We are hiring for candidates in the residents of Iloilo (Iloilo City) and the surrounding regions, we are open recruitment for the positions as Tax and Accounting Associate (Iloilo) in our business office, PricewaterhouseCoopers Business Services Philippines Co., Ltd. ("PwC BSP").

Candidates with a Not Specified or even higher and greatly experienced in Accounting/Finance & Audit & Taxation are especially required. Because our company values a competitive and professional work atmosphere, the candidates we seek must be dependable, honest, disciplined, and diligent.
We can offer you a salary that is generally between ₱16,000 - ₱38,000, which is competitive and reasonable. But no need to be worry! If you are beyond our expectations and dedicated to bringing our company to be much better with the credibility that you can offer, the salary range is negotiable and also can be changed according to our company HRD agreement.

Preferred Skills/Certifications:
- 1 to 2 years experience in General Accounting/Tax Compliance
- Must be a graduate of BS Accountancy
- CPA license is a plus
- In-depth analytical and writing skills
- Able to deliver quality work at a specified deadline as well as remain flexible to changing priorities
- Must be able to think independently, communicate/present ideas collaboratively and maintain high level of confidence
- Willing to learn and willing to be trained
- With good internet speed at home
- Willing to work in a hybrid set up (Office location: ILOILO)
Responsibilities:
- Recording of monthly transactions including preparation of monthly trial balance, Statement of Financial Position, Statement of Comprehensive Income, Statement of Cash Flows, Statement of Changes in Equity, and various account schedules
- Preparation of monthly journal vouchers with relevant supporting documents
- Preparation of BIR returns and attachments such as but not limited to the following:
-Expanded Withholding Tax (BIR Form 0619E / 1601EQ with Alphalist)
-Value-added tax (BIR Form 2550M/ 2550q WITH Summary List of Sales and Purchases)
-Documentary Stamp Tax (BIR Form 200)
-Quarterly Income Tax Return for corporation partnerships, and other non-individual taxpayers (BIR Form 1702Q)
- Updating of manual books on a monthly basis including: General Journal, General Ledger, Cash Receipts Journal, and Cash Disbursements Journal
- Preparation of Annual Information Return (1604E and 1604C) and Annual Income Tax Return
- Experience in statutory financial statements preparation at year-end in accordance with PFRS
- Assistance in the year-end local audit; preparation of audit schedules and responding to external auditor’s queries
- Validation of client’s payroll through independent calculation
- Monthly VAT return data gathering using different systems
- General ledger accounts reconciliation and identification of possible causes of variances for APAC and EMEA countries
- Other administrative tasks such as:
-Updating of external client’s monitoring files
-Providing progress or status updates to clients
-Preparation of presentation material for the monthly meeting with client
-Other special procedures that may be assigned from time to time
