We can offer you a salary that is generally between ₱16,000 - ₱38,000, which is competitive and reasonable. But no need to be worry! Overall Purpose of the Job:

To manage and guide team to ensure budget reports are accomplished accurately and on time

To provide analysis and insight to crew management operations on vessel spend and budget

Key Responsibilities and Tasks:

• Ensure right process, procedures and people are in place to deliver budget reports accurately and in a timely manner

• Application of Ship sure and Sales Force as the platform of the Crew Budgets.

• Ensure KPIs are met and drive continuous improvement for the team

• Act as single point of contact (SPOC) for all crew operations GMs on fleet/vessel budget and spend

• Ensure development and retention of team

• Analysing commercial information to ensure all operation are within the budget

• Presenting budget to senior and commercial managers

Business Development

• Provide guidance/expertise on crew related matters/costs to support preparation of commercially viable

• propositions/Bids.

• Manages the preparation of Crew Budget Proposals for new bids within the required timelines.

• Ensure prompt responses to crew related queries on existing bids.

• Oversee Crew Budget software data uploading and maintenance.

• Ensure recording, follow up and reporting on status of existing Crew Bids.

• Establish a source of functional expertise and information on all crewing matters including:

o Union Agreements – CBA’s.

o Visa requirements, high risk countries and travel in general.

o Flag requirements and the effect of these options on wages, union fees etc.

o MLC implementation and ongoing requirements

o Training matrix, VMS, matrix requirements.

o Wages, seniority, bonus etc. and relevant market trends

o Minimum crew level requirement for specific vessels.

• Create and publish Annual Crew wage assumptions for the group.

• Conduct periodic wage and crew cost benchmarking.

• Liaise with crewing offices to keep an up to date ‘ready reckoner’ of crew availability for different

• nationalities.

• Maintain a contact list of all available expertise and specialisms within the Group for specific queries.

• Crew Manager Budget training if required.

• Assist other members of the Group Bid / Commercial Team as required.

Required Experience:

ESSENTIAL:

• Relevant years of experience as manager in a similar role

• Background in reporting and analytics

• Proven ability in dealing with various stakeholders

• Proven ability to manage teams, prioritise, meet deadlines and make best use of limited resources.

• Comprehensive knowledge on the financial requirements in the crewing industry particularly budget variance reporting.

DESIRABLE:

• Work background and degree in finance
