As a Bookkeeper,

You will be reporting to our client’s General Manager of Finance to take care of all the company day to day financial tasks. You will be responsible for both accounts payable and receivable along with all payroll and bank account management and reconciliation tasks.

Some of the things we’d expect you to do are to…

  • Enter supplier invoices and identify and report any unusual activity.

  • Manage AP ledger.

  • Maintain relationships with suppliers.

  • Enter client invoices for all entities.

  • Manage AR ledger and liaise with relevant team members.

  • BAS/IAS, bank, credit card, and expense accounts reconciliations.

  • Superannuation, Workcover, and payroll tax reconciliations on a quarterly basis.

  • GST reconciliation on a quarterly basis.

  • PAYG and Tax instalment calculations.

  • FBT reconciliations as required.

  • Produce month-end reports each month by the deadline date.

  • Group payroll.

  • Monitor company cash flow.

  • Provide data for budgets and forecasts as required.

  • Provide data to third-party accountants for year-end.

  • Monitor and report to the General Manager of Finance on the financial position of the entities.

  • Streamline processes and procedures.

  • Assist with filing of documentation and maintenance of software.

We would need you to be or have the following…

  • 3-5 years of experience in a bookkeeping role.

  • Excellent communication skills – written and verbal

  • Minimum of Certificate IV in Bookkeeping / Finance / Accounting
