We offer you a fairly competitive salary that can be adjusted depending on the credibility you can contribute to our company. It typically ranges from ₱55,000 - ₱60,000 and likely to change at any time. This salary negotiation must be agreed based on our company's HRD agreement.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and proficient Japanese Bilingual Customer Service Representative to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to our Japanese-speaking clients while effectively communicating in both Japanese and English. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, cultural awareness, and a strong commitment to ensuring customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  1. Customer Interaction:
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries and provide accurate information through various channels, including phone, email, chat, and social media.
  • Handle a wide range of customer service requests, such as product inquiries, order status updates, billing questions, and technical support.
  • Demonstrate empathy, patience, and professionalism in all interactions with customers to ensure their needs are met effectively.
  1. Language Proficiency:
  • Communicate fluently in both Japanese and English to assist Japanese-speaking customers as well as collaborate with English-speaking team members and departments.
  • Translate written materials, including emails, documents, and product information, between Japanese and English accurately.
  1. Problem Resolution:
  • Investigate and troubleshoot customer issues, providing appropriate solutions and alternatives in a timely manner.
  • Escalate complex or unresolved issues to the appropriate department while maintaining ownership of the case until resolution.
  1. Product Knowledge:
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the company’s products, services, and policies to provide accurate information and assistance to customers.
  1. Documentation:
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of customer interactions, transactions, comments, and complaints using the company’s CRM system.
  • Generate reports on customer inquiries, feedback trends, and service performance as required.
  1. Cross-functional Collaboration:
  • Collaborate effectively with other departments, such as Sales, Technical Support, and Shipping, to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  1. Continuous Improvement:
  • Contribute to the ongoing improvement of customer service processes by identifying areas for enhancement and suggesting solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in customer service to provide innovative and efficient solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Fluent in Japanese and English, with exceptional verbal and written communication skills in both languages.
  • Previous experience in customer service, preferably in a bilingual role, is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Excellent active listening skills and the ability to empathize with customers’ concerns.
  • Proficient in using customer relationship management (CRM) systems and other relevant software.
  • Cultural sensitivity and awareness, with an understanding of Japanese business etiquette.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to adapt to changing situations and work well in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work shifts and weekends as required.

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
