We are hiring for the position of Revenue Accountant (Order Management and Billing) with full time working hours for our company office, KMC Solutions, for residents of Makati City and its neighboring areas.

Candidates with expertise in Accounting/Finance & General/Cost Accounting and at least a Not Specified or higher are highly needed. The candidates criteria we are looking for must be trustworthy and disciplined, because our business values a professional and competitive work environment.

Our company provides a competitive salary range of ₱50,000 - ₱80,000, which can be adjusted at the discretion of HRD in our company. This range naturally varies depending on how proficient the candidate credibility can be offered.

Revenue Accounting team is responsible for accurately and completely accounting for Benchling’s revenue, as well as for invoicing our customers and collecting cash from our customers. Revenue Accounting team is an important group which frequently collaborates with the rest of the Accounting organization, with FP&A, with Legal, with Sales, and with other groups within Benchling. This role will be an important part of the team and critical to its ongoing success. 

Duties and responsibilities

  • Review contracts for revenue recognition implications for ASC 606.
  • Maintain master customer and contract files and documents. Review sales orders and related customer agreements (e.g. MSA, PO, etc.) for key terms impacting billing and collections; identify and communicate other non-standard terms with financial, accounting, and legal implications.
  • Integrate SFDC opportunities into NetSuite.
  • Create Sales Orders, Invoices, Billing Schedules, Revenue Schedules, and Credit Memos in NetSuite.
  • Work with the AR accountants on communications with the customer on chasing POs, tax exempt certificates, and other billing related items.
  • Communicate with Sales Operations when questions arise during contract review.
  • Assist with year-end audit and quarterly review as pertain to AR relating items.
  • Participate in “order to cash” process improvement design and execution and other ad-hoc tasks as needed.

Minimum competencies

  • Understanding of revenue accounting concepts.
  • Previous work in area of revenue accounting with review of customer contracts for accounting implications is preferred.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-first environment.
  • Understanding of NetSuite and Salesforce is preferred

Minimum qualifications

  • Accounting degree equivalent to Bachelor’s or higher.
  • Previous experience working in revenue accounting or in audit.

A successful candidate should be prepared to submit and complete the following as part ofonboarding requirements.

• Scanned copy of valid NBI Clearance

• Accomplished Medical or PEME Slip

• 2×2 & Half body picture with white background

• Proof of government numbers (TIN, SS, Pag-ibig, & Philhealth).

• Photocopy of 2 valid IDs – front & back (government-issued)

• Clear copy of your Birth Certificate (PSA or NSO)

• Accomplished HR Forms & Promissory Note (will be provided by KMC’s Onboarding Team)
