The average starting salary we can offer you is in the range of ₱30,000 - ₱35,000. If you have credibility beyond the minimum criteria we are looking for, the provisions regarding the average initial salary we offer may change according to our company HRD agreement.

Qualifications:
- Graduate of Engineering course or any 4-year course
- At least 2 to 3 years work experience as Safety Officer in manufacturing or construction industry
- Must be a Safety Officer 2 or 3
- Completed basic pollution control officer (PCO) training course
- Willing to be assigned in Dasmarinas, Cavite
- Can start immediately
JOB SUMMARY
The Pollution Control and Safety Officer is responsible for the routine inspection of the plant facilities to ensure that safety standards, regulations and procedures are strictly followed and implemented in order to achieve a zero accident in the workplace.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensures proper maintenance of the plant facilities.
- Assists all departments in understanding job hazards and safety precautions.
- Ensures that all equipments and machineries are in good working condition and free from any accident hazards.
- Make sure that all employees of the plant remain safe from potentially hazardous conditions.
- Ensures that all safety devices of the plant are well maintained and are in good operating condition such as fire pumps, fire extinguishers and other fire fighting accessories.
- Implements company wide Safety programs as required by DOLE and other regulating agencies.
- Oversee the creation, review and refinement of NDCI safety policies and practices.
- Investigate serious or minor accidents of injury, property damage to ascertain cause and need for corrective action.
- Develops and implement measures and strategies to prevent their recurrence in order to meet-long-range loss-reduction goals.
- Acts as Pollution Control Officer to ensure compliance with DENR and other program regulating agencies with regards to environmental standards.
- Provides consultations, guidance and technical assistance on matters related to workplace safety and security.
- Suggests and recommends necessary constructive measures ensuring improvement and productivity.
- Ensures good housekeeping rules inside the plant.
- Coordinates interface relationship with concerned units, sections or departments regarding project and safety pollution matters.
