Universal Robina Corporation is looking for a Technical Trainer.
The Technical Trainer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and delivering comprehensive training programs to build the technical skills and competencies of our employees in various areas of sugar manufacturing.
What are the Roles and Responsibilities?
- Develop training programs and curricula for various technical job roles within the sugar manufacturing plant.
- Design and deliver engaging, effective training sessions using a variety of instructional techniques such as lectures, demonstrations, hands-on activities, and multimedia presentations.
- Research, gather, and organize training materials, resources, and tools required for the training programs.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in sugar manufacturing to incorporate into training programs.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and materials through assessments, surveys, and feedback from trainees.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and department heads to identify training needs and prioritize training initiatives.
- Monitor and track the progress and performance of trainees during and after training to ensure learning objectives are met.
- Provide individual coaching and mentoring to employees to enhance their technical skills and knowledge.
- Maintain training records, attendance, and other relevant documentation.
- Continuously enhance personal technical knowledge and instructional skills through professional development activities.
- Comply with safety regulations and practices while conducting training sessions.
What are the Qualifications?
- Should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field. A Master’s degree would be considered an asset.
- Should have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a technical training role within a manufacturing plant or similar industry.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment used in the sugar and renewables industry.
- Proven experience in delivering technical training programs to employees within a manufacturing plant. This includes developing training materials, implementing training methodologies, and assessing the effectiveness of training programs.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate individuals or teams in a training environment.
