Our company Philippine Veterans Affairs Office - Government is currently looking for candidates who are domiciled in La Union (Others) and surrounding areas with minimum criteria Bachelor's/College Degree & Professional License (Passed Board/Bar/Professional License Exam) and experienced in the field of Admin/Human Resources & Clerical/Administrative Support, as well as behave in a disciplined and honest manner, to then be placed in the position of veterans assistance officer ii (sg15- field service extension office la union) and be able to work in full time system.

In accordance of our HRD decision, the net salary we can offer is of ₱34,000 - ₱37,000 per month which is competitive and can be adjusted to the work capabilities that the candidate offers for our company.

VETERANS ASSISTANCE OFFICER II (SG15- FIELD SERVICE EXTENSION OFFICE LA UNION)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1.    Supervise the daily operations, maintenance, and security of the office, and in the implementation of activities/ programs/ projects in the area of responsibility;

2.    Assist in formulating administrative policies/ procedures of the field office’s operations and administration of veterans benefits;

3.    Supervise the acceptance of claims for veteran benefits based on RA 6948, as amended and other existing rules and regulations, and the Pensioner’s Validation in the area of responsibility;

4.    Conduct home visits/spot verifications/discreet investigations as deemed necessary of pensioners in the area of responsibility and prepare appropriate reports;

5.    Monitor the status of student wards under the Educational Benefits Program and visit and/or represent PVAO to particular schools;

6.    Monitor compliance of accredited hospitals to signed MOA under the VHMCP program;

7.    Coordinate and collaborate with various partner banks/financial institutions, partner schools, partner hospitals & other local agencies, and stakeholders that may be related to veterans’ affairs and welfare;

8.    Represent PVAO in meetings with the VFP and other veterans organizations, other local commemorative events, and disseminates information/office policies for the administration of veterans benefits to the veterans and their dependents; and

9.    Perform other related duties that may be assigned from time to time by the Chief, Claims Division and other officials.
