Salary Range: 100 to 1800 USD/ Monthly

ABOUT THE ROLE

As the Financial Controller, you will work directly under the VP of Finance and play a crucial role within multiple brands in our portfolio. Your tasks will involve implementing and maintaining financial processes, managing all accounts payable and accounts receivable, closing each month’s accounts within 6 business days, and being instrumental in our budgeting and forecasting processes. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and mathematical skills, the ability to exercise sound judgment in various situations, and demonstrate effective administrative and organizational skills. The capacity to manage multiple priorities across different brands will be vital for success in this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement, monitor, and enforce financial processes and policies across various brands
  • Oversee all accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring accurate records
  • Ensure books are closed for all corp entities by the 6th business day
  • Play a significant role in the budgeting and forecasting process for multiple brands
  • Respond to inquiries from vendors, employees, and customers about their bills, and invoices
  • Undertake administrative tasks as assigned by management

Requirements

● Minimum of 7 years of accounting experience

● Good to Excellent communication and writing skills.

● A minimum of 3 years of QuickBooks Online experience

● At least 2 years of management experience

CPA or relevant qualification is highly desirable

● Proficiency in spreadsheet applications such as Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel

● Ability to multitask and prioritize work across multiple brands

● Ability to work collaboratively and independently, demonstrating a strong work ethic.

● Exceptional organizational and prioritization skills

● High attention to detail and accuracy

● Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion, adapt to various competing demands, and demonstrate the highest level of customer/client service and response
