The role of the Privacy Manager is vital for the implementation, maintenance, and improvement of ibex’s Privacy Program and ensure compliance to privacy regulations and contractual requirements. The role is important to monitor, communicate, and coordinate changes and updates of privacy regulations to cross- functional departments.

As a Privacy Manager, you will be working with relevant departments and other business functions on the compliance and implementation of privacy measures of each Data Processing Agreement (DPA). This involves anticipating and planning for potential changes to privacy regulations. Your day will see you doing any of the following:

  • Maintain registers of processing activities in One Trust GRC platform
  • Work with legal and other business functions to maintain tracker clients, vendors, and other inter-company of DPAs
  • Conduct privacy and data protection impact assessments against business activity that involves personal information
  • Prepare, monitor, and follow up external and internal privacy related audits as well as preparation of treatment plans to remediate gaps and findings
  • Facilitate the development of corrective action and remediation plans for the identified gaps, issues, risks, or vulnerabilities. Ensure that all committed resolutions to audit findings, risks and privacy incidents are monitored, reviewed, resolved, and reported on timely manner
  • Advise key stakeholders and partners on how to improve their privacy risk posture
  • Develop, document, maintain, and support the privacy program in line with global privacy regulations and ibex’s privacy policy and practices
  • Work with cross-functional departments to develop and deliver privacy education, training, and awareness programs to employees of various business functions.
  • May facilitate the investigation of a privacy risk, potential or actual privacy breaches, assist in the development and implementation of corrective action plans, research root cause and document the entire investigation process according to policy/procedure.
  • Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Promote and demonstrate ibex’s RITE values internally and externally
  • Fulfill other tasks related to the position as required

Qualifications:

  • Education – undergraduate degrees, Business, Information systems or related business discipline, preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of progressive professional experience in any of the following fields: Privacy, Information Security, data protection, audit, risk and compliance.
  • Familiarity with privacy regulations and standards – GDPR, DPA, and/or information security standards (e.g. ISO27001, PCI DSS, SSAE, COBIT, etc.) is a must
  • Privacy certification is an advantage (e.g. CIPP, CDSE, CPLI, C-DPO etc)
  • Work from Home setup (will be tagged on preferred IBEX site.
  • Nigh shift schedule.
