We are hiring for the position of Medical Biller with full time working hours for our company office, SYNTEL INFOTECH, INC. doing business as Atos Syntel, for residents of Taguig City and its neighboring areas.

Our company provides a competitive salary range of ₱16,000 - ₱38,000, which can be adjusted at the discretion of HRD in our company. This range naturally varies depending on how proficient the candidate credibility can be offered.

Shift Schedule: Nightshift

Work Setup: Onsite

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Data and charge entry; payment posting.
  • Encounter tracking to ensure all visits are captured.
  • Submission of paper and electronic claims.
  • Balancing on a daily and monthly basis.
  • Follow up on all unpaid claims or denials, as per company protocol.
  • Development and mailing of patient statements per company protocol.
  • Refund management, per company protocol.
  • Response to client concerns and patients billing inquiries.
  • Generation of all month-end reports, as per company protocol.
  • Routine meetings with direct supervisor to review status of monthly workflow.
  • Attendance at mandated company training programs.
  • Attendance at bi-weekly team meetings.

Skills:

  • Must be detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to pro-actively identify problems, as well as recommend and/or implement effective solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service and develop relationships both internally and externally.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with and maintain confidential information.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Flexibility to adapt to a changing and fast-paced environment.

Experience:

  • Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
  • Knowledge of medical billing and/or collections preferred.
  • Experience with Medent preferred.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word and Excel preferred.
