We are hiring! Our company is merrily looking for a candidate to fill the position of Safety Officer. For those of you who live in National Capital Reg and its surrounding areas, we need you to then join our company office, JFE Techno Manila, Inc., and able to under a full time working hours.

We offer you the salary rates ranging from ₱16,000 - ₱38,000. The provision pertaining to the average starting initial salary we offer may change if you meet or even beyond the minimum requirement we are looking for in accordance with our company HRD agreement.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensures company compliance to RA 11058 and other applicable OSH requirements.
- Oversees implementation of company OSH programs, policies, and activities.
- Conducts office risk assessment and emergency management programs.
- Creates and conducts OSH-related trainings, reports, presentations, and information/education materials.
- Develops and improves programs relevant to OSH implementation of the company.
- Conducts regular rounds for monitoring of workplace and ensures appropriate actions are performed to address any observed noncompliance.
- Keeps inventory of OSH supplies and devices, and coordinates with suppliers and vendors for repairs/maintenance and replenishment.
- Monitors OSH work permitting and contractor’s compliance to workplace OSH protocols while inside company premises.
- Coordinates with regulatory agencies for OSH compliance and assists during external/government audits or inspections.
- Gives advice to, and aids in OSH-related inquiries and concerns from employees in all levels of the organization.
- Maintains OSH documentations and ensures that OSH files are updated, accurate and organized.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Graduate of any related bachelor’s degree with at least two years of experience as Safety Officer.
- Have undergone Basic OSH Training course and an additional of at least 48 hours of advanced OSH Trainings (Loss Control Management, Behavioral Safety, etc., including Basic Training Course for PCO) from an accredited Training Organization.
- Proficient in DO 198-18 (IRR of RA 11058, Strengthened OSH Law), Revised OSH Standards, RA 9514 (Fire Code), and other related OSH legal and reportorial requirements.
- Experience in handling Emergency Management and Business Continuity.
- Working knowledge in conducting workplace Risk Assessment, Investigation and Setting Countermeasures.
- Experience in representing the company during external/government audits and inspections.
- Strong collaborative management skills with the various stakeholders.
- Willing to learn Japanese Language to have better communication with Japanese.
