We offer a competitive monthly base salary from ₱16,000 - ₱38,000.

Due to prioritize professionalism in the work environment, the salary can be adjusted upon compromise with our company's HRD according to the capabilities of the candidate.

The Tax Senior Manager is responsible for preparing tax planning reports, tax review memorandum, and tax compliance report. He or she manages multiple engagements and ensures compliance of the business unit with existing tax laws and regulations.

  •  Supervises the work of staff members in the following: LGU- Business Permit/Renewal rates and calculation,BIR- Permits and Licenses Validity of any assessment imposed, if any. Drafting of reply/protest letter.
  • Reviews work output of staff members and ascertains if content is correct, accurate, and in accordance with specified work instruction.
  • Analyzes workload requirements of the team and prepares job forecasts in order to meet the job requirements.
  • Supports on all aspects of tax law of the business unit, including corporate tax, employment related tax issues.
  • Supports business unit for on-going and new business activities to analyze the tax consequences, risks and opportunities.
  • Assist the AVP in coordinating with the Government/ Regulatory Agencies on tax, compliance and other projects.
  • Assists in the formation and/or liquidation of legal entities.
  • Conducts legal research on various tax related issues and/or topics.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
  •  Minimum of five (5) years recent related experience as Finance/Tax Manager from reputable company
  • Good communication skills
  • Experience in dealing with regulatory agencies a plus
  • Amenable to be assigned at SM Retail Headquarters – Pasay
