Position: Company Nurse
Job Responsibilities:
1. Administering first aid where needed and evaluating employee’s overall health
2. Develop and implement health and safety programs
3. Communicate with management on a regular basis
4. Improve the health of employees through on-going programs and health checks
5. Administer over-the-counter medication to employees
6. Provide emergency treatment in the workplace
7. Create a clean , and comfortable sickbay area
8. Document all employee injury and illness and keep this information confidential
9. Ensures that the company is up to date with public health and employment safety legislations
10. Investigate and analyze injury trends, research possible occupational hazards, and collaborate with safety teams and managers
11. Nurturing a compassionate environment by providing psychological support
12. Prepare patients for examinations and perform routine diagnostics checks
13. In case of compensation and disability claims by an employee, the nurses are asked to assess the employee and provide information to the company
14. Maintain inventory of the medicines and other medical equipment required in their infirmary
15. Must be a registered nurse
16. Must have Basic Occupational Safety and Health Training for Nurses
17. Should have able to examine employees and think critically to make a health care recommendations
18. Have a good bedside manner as they need to be able to comfort employees who are in pain and explain problems clearly
19. Skilled communicators, both verbal and written mediums
20. Efficient in their tasks and highly organized as company nurse are charged with organizing employee
21. Health records in a way that is easily accesible
22. Have first aid experience and know to handle emergency situations that employees may experience
23. A warm and caring disposition
