Job Description:
The qualified applicant will help the department to achieve its mission to provide independent, objective assurance and consulting activity guided by the principle of adding value to improve the operations of Alliedbankers Insurance Corporation and its subsidiary. It helps the company in accomplishing its objectives by bringing a systematic, disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of the organization’s governance, internal control and risk management as well as provide strong oversight support to its subsidiaries’ internal audit activities under a centralized internal audit function structure ensuring that the International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IA) and the IT Audit and Assurance Standards and IS Control Professionals Standards of the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA) are met.
Job Specification:
- Must be a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy
- Preferably a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA); non-CPA or non-CIA may also apply
- With two to three (2 to 3) years’ work experience in insurance internal auditing or bank internal auditing
- With good moral character, high level of integrity, good public relations skills and with pleasing personality
